Single Session Leadership Coaching

Single-Session Coaching supports Leaders and Business Owners with a specific issue.

These sessions are time limited, purposeful and focused on supporting you to reach a decision, an outcome or even to explore options. Issues can include: responding to a critical incident, challenging business decisions, managing conflict and difficult relationships, exit strategies, stress and burnout support.

Not everything can be resolved in a single-session but everything can be explored and the intention is to help you move forward with whatever you need to discuss.

Recovery - "De-stress Programme"

Who is this for?

Essential for those who are experiencing burnout or acute stress and anxiety. This may also include those who are experiencing physical ill-health as a result of long-term stress, have been advised to take time off, or are already absent from, work due to the impact of stress and anxiety.

What is provided?

3 months of intensive support based on the following 2-stage structure:

Stage 1

To enable you to explore the thoughts, feelings and behaviours which are associated with overstress or burnout. This follows a therapeutic coaching model based on 3 aspects for psychological resilience:

  • Understanding your history and experiences and how these affect your responses in the present
  • The strengths and limitations of your current support system and how to make these more effective
  • The impact of your current environment exploring what you can and cannot control

By increasing your understanding of these 3 areas it enables you to be clearer about what is impacting you and why. This work enables stage 2.

Stage 2

To identify remedial strategies, coping mechanisms and long-term changes to enable you to take control and make more positive choices.

An indicative programme is:

  • An initial 2 hour assessment therapeutic coaching session.
  • A 90 minute session within 2 weeks of the assessment.
  • A further 9 hours of therapeutic coaching to include a session every 2 or 3 weeks.
  • Support between sessions as agreed up to a maximum of 30 minutes

The exact nature of the support will be determined in the initial assessment session. Support will be a blend of therapeutic interventions and coaching activities.

Mentoring and Independent Supervision for Leaders

Who is this for?

This is aimed specifically at senior leaders and business owners who want ongoing support with managing the multiple challenges faced by those in stressful and high-profile roles. It is also well suited for those in senior roles in service professions such as Medicine, Law, Police, Fire, Health for example who often hold the competing demands and ethical standards of their role and their profession.

If the stress of your role is causing emotional strain and adversely impacting your ability to lead well then this can have long term psychological consequences. The emphasis is on helping leaders to maintain the pace of their work and minimise the impact of long term high level stress.

The Supervision space is confidential and supportive. It is really useful for short term support as you work through something like a reorganisation, redundancy or change programme. Its also incredibly helpful for longer term where your ongoing work is in a highly stressful sector or profession. It’s a place to vent, to share the challenges, explore options, discuss tough decisions and even to explore exit strategies.

Being a leader places a huge strain on authenticity and resilience. If you’re not effectively topping these up then this is the programme for you.

What is provided?

6 or 12 months of ongoing independent mentoring and supervision for 2 hours every month. A DISC Work of Leaders profile is included to be completed at the start of our work together.

The exact content of the sessions is driven by you. Every leader has different challenges based on the environment, the role, the desired outcomes and you as a unique human being.

An initial 2 hour assessment session is essential to ensure this is the right programme for you and we’re a good fit to work together.

An indicative programme is:

  • A 2-hour initial assessment session.
  • A 90 minute session every month for the duration of the programme
  • Support between sessions up to a maximum of 30 minutes

This forms the broad outline for the work however, by its very nature, Leadership mentoring and supervision is responsive to your needs and the content and process will be flexible within the boundaries needed to achieve your stated aspirations.
